Every FAIR Press Journals title runs on the same spine of commitments. Each journal publishes its own complete policy pages: the publisher-level rules below are the ones no title may weaken.
Publisher-wide commitments
- Open access, always. CC-BY 4.0, copyright retained by the authors, no paywall, no reader accounts.
- Reproducibility, wherever the data allow. Every article ships a reproducibility package, and results are re-executed before publication where the article type carries runnable artifacts and the data can be shared. Where privacy prevents it, we offer anonymised or synthetic twins. The badge states exactly what we found, including where original-data reproduction was not possible.
- Disclosed AI, accountable humans. The review is AI-assisted, with a disclosed three-reviewer panel alongside automated statistical, code and reference checks, and a named human editor reads and signs every decision. No accept or reject is ever autonomous.
- Soundness over fashion. Submissions are judged on rigour and reproducibility, not perceived excitement. Replications and null findings publish on equal terms.
- Fees never decide. No submission fees, and publication fees only on acceptance, decoupled from the decision, with need-blind waivers.
- Integrity with a procedure. References verified on every submission, COPE-aligned misconduct handling, a free appeals route to an independent human.
- Preservation by design. Articles and their packages will be deposited openly and independently of us, so published work outlives the publisher.
